Salary: according to National Treasury remuneration for committee members

Period: from date of appointment until 31 May 2029

The two independent external members will be appointed to fulfil the following roles:

1x Chairperson of ICTSC, and

1x Expert Cyber Security advisor

REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements for ICTSC Chairperson

• Postgraduate qualification in Information Technology or related ICT Governance studies.

• Experience in chairing ICTSC.

• Strong ICT Governance experience.

• Experience serving committees, especially in the government sector.

• Ability to dedicate time to ICT Strategic Committee activities.

• International ICT Governance and Cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage.

Requirements for ICTSC Expert Cybersecurity Advisor

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in an ICT Senior Management role, preferably in a government public entity.

• Experience serving on an ICT Committee or Audit Committee providing ICT oversight.

• Experience in ICT legislation, ICT policy frameworks, best practices, ICT governance, cybersecurity, enterprise and ICT architecture, ICT frameworks, policies, processes, ICT risk management, and implementation of ICT strategies and plans.

• Knowledge of legislation applicable to government public entities, particularly the PFMA and National Treasury Regulations.
