Cape Town is home to a remarkable diversity of bird species. The birds you encounter vary depending on habitat and season, making birding an exciting and rewarding experience throughout the year.
This lecture will introduce five key principles of bird identification. Whether you are completely new to birding or looking to deepen and refine your skills, this session is designed to support your journey.
Participants will explore the process of bird identification both by sight and by sound through a series of interactive exercises. By the end of the lecture, attendees will be equipped with practical tools to become more observant of the natural world and to make their own exciting discoveries.
