The Soweto Cheese and Wine Festival returns this October with a massively expanded spring edition at Soweto Theatre.

Soweto is ready to step outside and soak up the sun. The Soweto Cheese and Wine Festival, widely regarded as one of the most sought-after events on the local calendar, is officially returning for its second edition of 2026 on Sunday, 4 October 2026.This year, the festival expands its horizons by hosting the event at the iconic Soweto Theatre, which joins the festival as the official venue partner. This partnership promises an unmissable lifestyle fixture that Sowetans actively demand, making it the ultimate way to break the winter hibernation, gather the community, and celebrate the arrival of Spring in a massively upgraded setting.  Doors open at 12:00 at the Soweto Theatre.
