Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled encore as Zip Zap Circus proudly presents the highly-anticipated return of VOOMA!, a heart-pounding celebration of circus, set to light up the Zip Zap Dome adjacent to the Artscape Theatre. Mark your calendars from 7 to 17 December 2023, as VOOMA! hits the stage with a fresh lineup of acts which are sure to thrill the entire family. The show promises an immersive journey into a world of trapeze, acrobatics, juggling, and uproarious comedy.

This remarkable young ensemble features emerging talents who have honed their craft through Zip Zap’s advanced Zappers and Dare2Dream training. Zip Zap’s 9 social circus programmes are offered free of charge to all participants and have been giving future circus stars a home for over 30 years.

Brent van Rensburg, Co-founder and Artistic Director at Zip Zap, couldn’t contain his excitement, stating, “VOOMA! takes me back to my circus school years in the 70s. The energy, the comradery, the fun and the daring. Not all will become stars of the sawdust ring, but the lessons learnt will last long after lessons from textbooks are forgotten.”

VOOMA! will take centre stage at the Zip Zap Dome, located at 10 Jan Smuts Street, Cape Town. Showtimes are at 18:00 daily from 7 to 17 December 2023. Doors open 45 minutes before each performance. Stadium raked seating allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
